She has served as Vice-Dean for Research and International Relations at the same institution. She graduated in Criminal Investigation and holds a PhD in Sociology.  <\/p>\n<p>Her research interests focus on the role and duties of the police in society, the etiology of crime, and crime prevention. She has participated in international security and safety projects within H2020, COST Action, and Erasmus+. Her recent books, resulting from collaboration within EU projects, include &#8220;Security Technologies and Social Implications&#8221; (Wiley) and &#8220;Community Policing &#8211; A European Perspective&#8221; (Springer).
